The Lancashire Music Association (LMA) is an independent, not-for-profit, democratically run association created to connect, support and represent the interests of Lancashire's music people, businesses, and scenes.

The LMA is for any, and all music stakeholders in, or from the county, including those working on public domain music and related activities, professionals, semi-professionals, anyone intending to develop a sustainable career in the music industry, and people operating within our music eco systems, including educators, and other trade associations. 

Geographically we cover all of Lancashire, its local authority profiles including the unitary authorities of Blackburn & Darwen, and Blackpool​

The LMA aims to help develop a diverse, inclusive and accessible music industry in the county, and enhance Lancashire's reputation as an amazing place for music

We are committed to:

Listening to and understanding our members' needs

Facilitating a collective voice for Lancashire's music stakeholders, and representing our communities, culture and industry at a local, regional and national level.​

Developing our music ecosystems, talent, management, networks, infrastructure, and audiences throughout the county, with a view to building community, and enhancing and capturing cultural and economic value​​​
